Urban Decay Palette 2 Review

So it's been a while since I posted but it has been a really busy time and I had so many things to do I just could not find time to sit down and relax to write..

Last week we recently got the brand Urban Decay in my Country (which took so long!!), and of course I had a little look around the counter and instantly fell in love with all of their products and I wanted to buy the hole range. But of course I didn't win in the lottery, I don't have piles of gold lying around my house and I do not possess magical powers to conjure some so I had to restrain myself and chose one thing. I opted for the Urban Decay Palette 2.

I had quite a struggle wether I want the first, second or third one because, lets be honest they are all amazing!
The colors are amazing pigmented and super builtable. I loved that the second pallet and contains colors for your everyday makeup but also to create a smoky going-out  look.
The colors are more on the glittery side, what I really like as I am into glittery colors at the moment but there are some matt colors too.
With the pallet you get a free brush with on one side  large and and on the other side smaller bristles and they have a super quality!

I can only highly recommend this palette and it is totally worth its price and also it makes a super nice present for the ones you love :)

I hope you will have a great week, lovely holidays
and enjoy watching christmas movies ;) (currently watching "the grinch")

until soon :)

Winter Breakfast

Hey you,

As I was sitting in my kitchen eating breakfast today I thought, why not share it with you. Hahaa that sounds so interesting ;) But yes, I love a good and healthy breakfast in the morning and of course no one has enough time to do something soo special or hard when it's probably about 7 am.

So that's why I wanted to show you what's my favourite breakfast at the moment ! I think it's so so yummy and I can't get enough of it, but after one good bowl I really feel full and I won't be hungry until after school and that's actually quite rare for me haha.

I didn't told you yet, but ok maybe it's the reson why I like it that much.. It's christmasy !! And come on what's better than getting in Christmas mood before you are really awake.

I start with chopping half an apple in small slices. And that's really the longest part of the whole thing. Now you just have to put your favourite cereals and a bit of honey into your bowl. On top I always sprinkle some cinnamon. Actually quite a lot because I love cinnamon. It tastes like pure Christmas !! And as an extra tipp: I think it all tastes the best with almond milk and it's a lot healthier than using normal milk :)

Maybe it sounds quite simple, but give it a go and you'll see it's so so good.

Hope you liked this post and see you soon

It's all about Lush isn't it?

Hello everyone!

Currently I have been doing a little bit of shopping, which i mainly mean having a splurge in Lush.
The new collection has been released so as soon as possible I found myself wandering between piles of wonderful smelling bath bombs and bubble baths. And of course I did purchase more than I really needed and of course I'm going to share them with you. And yes, hold your breath, they are all mostly Christmas themed haha :)
So lets get into it!

Fist things first I grabbed on of the Lush Christmas classics which is the "So white" bath bomb.
It smells amazing, feels amazing when you come out of the bath and I'm  repurchase it over and over again every year. It's a subtle and light scent of apples and other smells I can't really describe, so if You aren't much of a fan of heavy and strong scents, this is Your bomb! And again it's a classic and a must-have for every Christmas-time.

Next one is probably the smallest bath bomb I have every seen. It's called "Cinders", which always reminds me of Cinderella haha. I think this bath bomb  has been in stock for a while now every year but I have never really bothered smelling it. But this year I did, and oh my God it smells so nice! I literally want to eat it. This smell is a little bit stronger than the previous one and not for everyone as it smells like a mixture of cinnamon and honey and a typical Christmas scent I can't identify t the moment. So it's definitely worth a sniff :).

Now to the more Christmasy ones. The first one is of course "Father Xmas" which is kind of a classic too. This bath bomb is just a must-have for e during winter time and it always gets me into a festive mood even when I'm scattered and sad. Again smells amazing, feels amazing when you come out of the bath AND this year they managed to make him look much more like Santa compared to last year haha :)

Next one is probably the cutest one out of my collection. It's the "melting snowman" and basically it's so hard to put him in the bath. I mean look at his face!! This bath bomb smells literally like a cinnamon stick, so if you don't like cinnamon i would not recommend this as the scent is quite strong, but if you do it's a duty to give it a go! :) And I mean, who can resist this cute little face??

Last one (and also the most christmasy one) is the "holly go lightly" bubble bath and let me put out there this thing is so much heavier and bigger than it looks so you can use it multiple times. Again super christmasy. It has a mistletoe on it and a LOT of silver glitter. Lush do love their glitter on their bathing devices I have to admit haha :). Take the scent of a christmas tree, candles, cinnamon, baked apples and christmas treats and boom here you have the smell that describes this bubble bath. So basically it smells like christmas.

I hope You enjoyed my quick Lush haul and I hope it got you into a christmas spirit even though it's only November (You can ever start early enough haha)

Till next time :)

My 5 favourite nailpolishes

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry to upload this post on a Wednesday instead of Sunday, but I had a lot to do and now I'm sick, but I just had a little time to write.. So I'll begin now ;)

As it's curently gettin colder and everybody starts to wear the most comfortable sweaters, also my favourites are changing. I'm not one of these girls, who are wearing nailpolish everyday, but I love to have them just in case I want to sit down and make my nails.

I was looking through all of them and I picked the one's I would wear at the moment and here we go...

I want to start with the two of Catrice Cosmetics-Ultimate Nudes.
"040 Petit Four As Dessert" is a light brown with a bit of shimmer and I think It's a really good colour for autoumn and if you don't like brigth nailpolishes.
"01 Karl says très chic" is also nude, but more of a rose colour and I like it, because I think this colour is quite rare, but fits to a lot of clothes.

The other three are from Essie and I bought them all together in one of these little packages last year, so maybe you won't find exactly the same, but probably quite similar ones.
"282 Shearling darling" is such a nice burgundy colour and I think it's my all time favourite! I love it for this time of the year.
"285 Toggle to the top" is quite similiar to the one before, but eith a lot of glitter in it. I think it's maybe too much to wear it to school for example but I like it on my ringfingers with the other burgundy colour of Essie on the other fingers :)
"284 Parka perfect" is greeny gray colour with a bit of shimmer and I really like wearing it at the moment, because it reminds me of the shimmer of snow everytime I look at it.

At the moment I'm not wearing any nailpolish, but after writing this I'm quite sure I will pplish my nails haha..

Hope you liked the post and see you next time

The Autumn Tag

Hello everyone,

First we want to say thanks to Lulu.B xox for tagging us :) We both really like autumn so we were really happy about it. So let's get started:

1) Favorite Thing about autumn?

Rebecca: hmm there are so many things! baths, sweaters, candles, pumpkins, but I think the one thing I love the most is seeing the leaves changing colors. The world looks so colorful and cosy. Everything looks so peaceful and harmonious.
Catrin:  I would say the nature - because it changes a lot in this time of the year and I love looking outside the window and seeing the leaves turning red, brown or orange.

2) Go to makeup product during autumn?
Rebecca: Everything dark and plumy colored! I am obsessed with darker makeup shades during autumn. Currently I 've been using the Rimmel Lipstick in number 330 which is called sloane's plum or the Maybelline Color Elixir in number 135 (LOVE them).
Catrin: That's quite hard for me.. I really like dark red lipsticks as well, but I don't really wear them  often, so for me my go to makeup product is the eyeshadow called 'gorgeous gold' from mac. I especially like it in combination with dark brown colours.

3) Favorite food/drink during autumn?
Rebecca: favorite drink is definitely the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks (obsessed at the moment) or a good old hot chocolate ;)
Catrin: Definately green tea at the moment. I found one with lime and elder. Soooo good !! My favourite food is probably my Dad's pumpkin soup. Mhmm..

4)Favorite shop during autumn?
Rebecca: my all time favorite is Lush. During autumn and winter time Lush is just a must-have for me!
I have more baths plus the autumn/winter collections are always the nicest. Recently I have been loving River Island too. They have a really nice autumn collection. Definitely worth having a look.
Catrin: hmm.. I'm actually not sure, but I think I love going through all the decoration shops in autoumn. There's so much to see and sometimes there's even Christmas deco already. Yaaay haha

5)Favorite autumn scent?
Rebecca: The smell when you are standing in the woods when all the leaves are falling down. (And Perfume-wise I'm loving the fragranced body mist from the Zoella range, not a autumnal scent but really lovely).
Catrin: Normally I prefer the summery scents, but I got the 'Coco Noir' parfume of Chanel and I think it's perfection. I love how it smells and that it stays a long time.

6)One word that sums up autumn for you?
Rebecca: cosy!!
Catrin: colourful :)

7) Inside or outside during autumn?
Rebecca: When it's not raining definitely outside!
Catrin: Same as Rebecca :) But inside in front of the window with a cup of tea.

Autumn Beauty favorites

Hello everyone!

As I am a HUGE autumn fan I do dedicate this post to the season of falling leaves: Autumn! (haha)
A lot of baths, dark lipsticks, sweaters, pumpkins, candles, falling leaves, fairy lights...

During autumn I always find myself grabbing darker lipstick and eyeshadow shades and as I am a nosy person and I like to see what other people have bought, I thought maybe someone would be interested to see what I have been loving so far.

Nail polish (left to right):

P2 volume gloss-  160 casual queen
Rimmel velvet matte- 014 sumptuous red
H&M nail polish- midnight mystery
H&M nail polish- Serenity now

I do love all of these nail polishes. The P2 one dries super quickly and stays quite long.
The Rimmel one dries super quickly and the matte color gives it a special touch although it doesn't stay put for so long.
The H&M polishes are great when you don't want to spend much money on nail polishes. They are a good quality for the price you pay. They take a little bit longer to dry but stays on your nails quite a long time.

Lipsticks (left to right):

Maybelline Color Elixir- 135 Raspberry
Catrice- C02 Alluring pink
Rimmel- 330 Sloane's plum
Sleek fruit glaze- 150 Black cherry

As you may have noticed all of my favorite lipsticks are based around the same color. I love wearing dark, plumy colors when it comes to autumn and winter- wear.
I had heard a lot of people raving about the Maybelline Color Elixir so when i first spotted this little bugger in the store I was more than eager to try it. And Maybelline didn't disappoint me. I LOVE this product so much! It has a nice texture and is not too sticky. The color is really pigmented and easily builtable.
The Catrice makeup is the one I always find myself going back to. The quality you get is really good and the lipsticks are a real bargain! Great color pigmentation and  easy to apply. Only thing that annoys me a bit is that the lipsticks tend to get really dry after a time.
The Rimmel one is my favorite one. It's a super pretty dark color. Again great pigmentation and stays where it has to stay and doesn't end up all over your face or clothing instead on your lips. And this lipstick smells amazing! So if you are looking for a nice smelling lipstick check this one out.
What I also really liked was the name of it.. I don't really know why they picked the name Sloane or what it means but I think it sounds quite cool and special ;)
The Sleek lipgloss/lipgloss is soo sticky which kind of annoys sometimes but on the other hand the lipgloss stays on and on forever. I don't know wether they have mixed in some superglue or they have asked a wizard but basically you don't get this lipgloss away so easily. What I do is because its so sticky I use my finger to apply it on my lips.

Eyeshadow/Blusher:

Bourjois blusher - 40 Rose Thé
Rimmel Eyeshadow - 022 Brixton brown

The Boujois blusher is a really pretty dark browny, purple. Basically this color is autumn. It stays on your cheeks really long and it gives you a super pretty look on your cheeks as if you just would have taken a long walk in the woods. The only thing I don't really like is that it's quite hard to apply it as it's not that pigmented.
The Rimmel eyeshadow palett contains every color You need during autumn/winter. It has a glittery gold color, a shimmery purple color, a light brown color, a darker violet color and a dark brown/dark violet color. The colors are super pigmented and really easily to apply and to blend. Basically with this palette you can go for every look you want wether this is dark and smokey or light and natural. Great for traveling as it is a really compact palette.

Lush bath bomb:

Last but not least the bath bomb! I do have soo many favorites this year and I will make sure to do a post about all my errands in Lush as soon as possible but for this post I selected the most autumnal one. And obviously it's the glittery pumpkin :) This bath bomb is just the cutest! It smells amazing and reminds me of autumn, candles, leaves.. If you want to get into an autumnal/halloween spirit this is a MUST!

I love autumn and I think it's over so fast without even noticing, so make the best out of it and try to get into an autumnal spirit everyday and appreciate it everyday.

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I loved making this post.
And I hope it helped you getting into the autumn spirit (It surely worked for me)

See you very soon

Rebecca xoxo

Autumn feelings

Hello everyone :)

Today I actually wanted to do a post about Rebecca and my faourite blogs, but I didn't work how I thought it would and so I had no idea what i could write about and I actually was quite sad about it.
Sometimes everything gets a bit too much and at the moment I find myself quite often thinking about that. School can be very stressfull and everyone of us has own problems of course.
I could now try to help you, but I think there are no advice that will solve every problem ;)
But I can show you what I did today:

Yeees.. I just went out for a while and took my camera with me. I think sometimes I get too focused on things that don't matter, but actually you should open your eyes and mind for every single beautiful moment.

I'm sorry for a not beauty or fashion related post, but the next will be different, I promise.

See you very soon & keep your eyes open.

Memory Jar

Hello everyone!

Today I didn't felt like writing about beauty related subjects and I'm currently having one of those low  energy days. So i thought why not doing something different. I have been thinking about my life in general and how I want to "shape" my future. And I thought what would be a better fit than introducing my memory jar.
Maybe you are familiar with this concept or you are a proud owner of one of these high-tech objects too. When not, don't worry I will do my very best to introduce you.
These high-tech jars are equipped with bullet-proof glasses and a metallic, waterproof lid. To complete,  these jars are built with a special layer on the inside. The particles which cause paper to turn yellow are caught in a tiny non-visible sphere which then throws these particles out in order to prevent the paper turning yellow.

Just kidding (as if you would't have already guessed it).

In this jar I keep my memories. Just the little ones. The ones that made me laugh, made me feel good but also the ones that made me sad or even cry. Just the ones you would't write in your diary because they are to simple, to unnecessary to even think about them again. I put these memories on small notes and keep them in the jar. And every year on my birthday I open the jar and read them again.
And when I read through them again, I find myself remembering so many memories I would normally forget.  Sometimes I think the little ones are the precious not the big ones. We tend to forget those and just look at the sad ones. For me it helps a lot at those days to just look at these memories and see how many happy little things happened to me.

I would't dare to say it makes you a happy person but I can say it helps A LOT. It helps you to  realize how blessed you are with your life and helps you enjoying the little things more in life. It helps you to see the little things more. Nowadays we live in a world where everything is rushed, only the important and big things get our (full) attention. I think once we realize that the smaller things are precious too we will be able to be happier with what we already have.

At the end of the year you find yourself smiling at the good moments you had with your friends, family or who ever. So I highly recommend you trying it out!

See you soon with a more beauty related post I promise! :)

My skincare routine

Hey everyone,

today I want to write about sth I couldn't life without - Skincare products.
I think nearly everybody comes to this point of life, where little spots try to make the complicated life even worse... Some call it puberty ;) Some of us are so lucky and just skip this and others have really bad skin problems like acne.

Fortunately I never had real acne, but I was one of the girls with a lot of pimples on their forehead and the T-zone. I really hated this time and I didn't know what to do.
First I tried out a lot of products from the drugstore. They helped a short period of time and then they just dried out my skin, so my face spanned and my skin looked so unhealthy.
Then I went to a cosmetician and she helped me to figure out what skintype I was and what products I should use. I think the woman really helped me and I still use some of the products, because they are so gentle to my face, moisturize but they still clean my face.

I think there is not one product, which will help everybody to have no spots, but I just wanted to show you some products that really helped me. And I also want to mention it's normal that we go through this times, where our skin isn't perfect at all and nobody of us is alone with these problems. I think that it takes some time, especially if you're a teenager, but your skin will probably get better automatically and if you think you might get acne you should probably go to a doctor or a good cosmetician.
Ok, so let's get started ;)

My first product I want to mention is the Bioderma Sébium H20. I use it every single day to remove my make up and I think it's really the best remover. It's not oily at all and I really like the fresh smell of it. I still have a bit left in my 250ml bottle and I think it lasted for half a year now, so it's reeeaally worth the money. I'm not sure in which countries you can buy it, but I just ordered it at a pharmacie and I will reorder it very soon, so I don't have to live without this for a day :)

The next two products are both cleansing products in a mousse consistancy. I used the one of Décleor maybe about one or even two years when I had my worst skin times and it helped me a lot! Probably I bought about 5 of them in this time, because I just loved it. I can totally recommend to give this brand a go if you can get your hands on it. It's super gentle and smells really nice and natural.
At this time of the year my skin starts to get a bit drier, so I wanted to get something new, that's why I bought the Clinique anti-blemish solutions cleansing foam. I can't really say sth about this product, because I used it only a few times now. But I hope it will work. I thought it's good, because it's for all skintypes, so it shouldn't dry out my skin, but still cleans it.

Another product I can recommend is this facial tonic of Décleor. As always it smells so so good and it really wakes me up in the morning. It mattifies your skin, that's especially good if you skin tends to get a bit oily during the day like mine.

Next is my moisturizer from Babor skinovage px intense purifying cream. I love it, because it sinks in so quickly and again smells amaizing. It's perfect for people with dry areas on their face and some spots. It's not too moisturizing so you get spots from it, but still gives your face exactly what it needs.

My last product is also quite new. I use it maybe since one month, but really ever single evening. I put a tiny amount on every spot i can see and it the next day most of them are gone or nearly gone. I got this as a present and I don't know if it's really expensive, but if you see Payot pâte grise give it a go. I think it will be worth the money and you only use a small amount so it will rest you for a long time.

I hope you liked the post and if you try ot the products i hope they will work out and make your skin perfect ;)

See you soon.
Catrin

Top 5 Lipsticks

Hello everyone!

Personally I'm a HUGE Lipstick fan. A pop of color on your lips can make such a difference to your look and your appearance. With lipstick you can make an outfit exciting or just emphasize your natural beauty. So today I will talk about my top 5 lipsticks. They are mainly drugstore ones but there have sneaked in some high end ones too. I normally don't have the capacity to purchase high end make up but once in a while drugstore lipsticks just don't quite satisfy your lip needs. So in that case I tend to splurge on a fancy high end lipstick ;)

The first one is the Catrice Lipstick in "Alluring Pink" which is a gorgeous dark pink color and always reminds me of a bubble gum. And let it me first just put out there: The packaging is ROSE GOLD! I mean how pretty is that?? It's the cheapest one in my collection but I love it. With it's smooth texture the lipstick is easily applied and stays on for a really long time. The color is intensive too. It gives you a girly but still serious look and it seriously goes with everything.

Second is the MAC Lipstick in "See sheer" which is a brownish red color. It's perfect for autumn time and the color always makes me think of fallen leaves. As known for Mac lipsticks, it is really pigmented and creamy. The color is natural on your lips even though it doesn't look like it when your see the color. So this lipstick is easily wearable for your everyday make up.

The middle one is the Rimmel Lipstick in 170 from the Kate Moss collection. And oh my god I love it so much!! I have never purchased such a creamy and light lipstick before! It's super easy to apply, doesn't dry out your lips at all and is just gorgeously pigmented. It leaves you with a super soft feeling. It's a really bright red color and just gives your face a special touch with every look your going for. And to add, this lipstick is wearable all days long without this nerve-racking dehydration. I can only recommend this!

Next one is the Manhattan lipstick in the number 54v which is a deep reddish-plumy color. I'm obsessed with this one during winter and autumn and it always gets me into a festive mood. I basically love to go dark on the lips but often I'm not brave enough. This color is super pigmented and oh my god it last on your lips for ever! Sometimes I wonder if they put in some superglue haha but it's true! Sometimes even after cleaning my face you can tell that I wore a red lipstick! The only thing that I don't quite like is, that after a while the lipstick can get a little dry and also it's consistency is not the creamiest. But I still LOVE it and I would totally recommend it! So go for it, wear dark!

My last product is not a lipstick but a lipgloss. I'm not really a lipgloss person because when I wear them after approximately 10 minutes they have disappeared from my lips and I find myself accidentally licking them off and when i don't, they always get all sticky. But then I found this one! It the Dior addict Gloss in the number 382. This one is not the cheapest lipgloss but I did spare some money. The lipgloss is in a shimmery really light rose color. It's super natural and doesn't get sticky at all! It's definitely the money worth it! This lipgloss gives your look something fairylike and princesslike and makes your face appear fresher. The perfect everyday lipgloss! Finals? A lot of work to do? Not much sleep? No problem the only things you need is this lipgloss to make your face appear more awake and fresh and shiny. Well apart of concealer maybe... ;)

I hope you liked my top five lipsticks and always remember after such a shopping spree your purse may will be crying but your lips will be laughing.

Rebecca :)

Five Back To School Advice

The summer holidays are probably the best weeks of the whole year for a lot of students. You can enjoy your freetime with friends, travel and get relaxed again after a maybe stressy and busy year of school. I think it's quite obvious that everybody likes them :)
But there's one negative thing - they will end.
It's quite hard to get back to your usual 'school routine' and concentrate on school now again. Some of us will go to another school, another class or will have other teachers. That means there are a lot of new things you have to get used to and get along with and of course it's difficult! But everybody can do it.
Probably most of the summer holidays finished already, but I just started school last week again and I thought that these tipps are never too late to get, because there are so many things to do to make it easier for you and sometimes even a tiny change can affect a lot!
So let's start with my five advice :)

1. Organisation:
I really love to get a bit creative with my school supplies and I think it's so good to have nice and pretty folders and books and it also helps me to stay a bit more motivated for school. That's why I organised my folder with a handmade register and I think it turned out quite good. It's so easy to do and it makes such a different to the boring white ones you can buy. There are so many ways to keep your school stuff organised, but i just wanted to show you mine, because it's a really easy one and doesn't take too long.
I'm not sure if this one relly helps me to get more organised but when I saw some pictures of these pens at tumblr, I just had to try to do this as well. And I love it! They look so much cuter with the washi tape on them and now I'm happy to take out my pencil when our teacher asks us to do haha..

2. Day before preparation:
I know that sometimes there's just not enough time to get prepared for every subject of the next day, but that's totally ok. If you use the time after school wisely you will probably have some minutes left. In this time you can try to pack your things for the next day. It's so much better to do that the day before, because in the morning most of us are more likely to forget some stuff. If you still have a bit of time in the evening it's great to read through your last pages of your sujects of the next day. You will see that it's a lot easier to follow the teacher if you know what you were doing the last lesson. Another thing to do is pick your outfit the da before.. Yeeep, who doesn't know this situation in the morning, when your standing in front of you coset not kowing what to wear!? I absolutely hate it. You have more time in the evening, so you can even put some juwellery out for the next day and that will save some time in the morning.

3. Healthy Lunch:
Some of us go to school with great cantines, where they can eat in their break and don't have to think about their lunch. (Lucky you)
But there are also schools without cantines or just really bad ones, where you don't want to eat. I'm not really one of the lucky ones so I'm trying to make myself every morning a healthy lunch. Of course the portion depends on how long I have to be in school. I think it's great to have some fruits and vegetables with you, because it's a great snack for the short breaks. And currently I'm also trying to take something to drink with me as well, because the last year I forgot it every single day and my friends had to lend me their water oops..

4. Take time for yourself:
Everybody knows these days when your just down. There doesn't have to be a real reason, but your just feeling not good at all. I think that's totally normal, because nobody can be in a good mood every day and that's why sometimes it's good to take some time for yourself, sit down, grab a cup of tea, make a facial mask and watch your favourite film or series or read your favourite book. Nobody will judge yo, if you have a bad day, because we all know them!

5. Learning:
It's quite obvious that learning is a big point of school, but I wanted to mention it, because my advice is to follow the lessons in school the best you can, because it will save so much time at home. Learning in school is the one thing, but of course you also have t learn at home for exams or test and it's not easy to get yourself to do school stuff after school, but It's so important for everybody of us. I think a good start is to do your homework everyday, because than your really up-to-date :) After this you know what you can improve and in what you're good enough.

I really hope you liked the post and maybe I could help some of you.
See you very soon
Catrin

Rainy day Pampering

Hello everyone!

On days when it's raining all day long a lot of people would maybe be quite disappointed or have a bad mood,  however for me those days, when it's cold out side and the leaves are turning brown and it's all cozy inside are my favorite ones! They just scream: Pamper and duvet day!!
Throw in a bath bomb, pamper your skin, light some candles and curl up in a blanket and watch series  or read a good book.
And as it's one of these days today I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show you my pamper essentials. :)

First of all I will throw in a bath bomb and light some candles. I think candles can make such a difference and create a nice and relaxed atmosphere (and get me excited for christmas too ;)! )

After spending some time relaxing I will then wash my body with the "Creamy coconut body lotion" from Marks and Spencer. The smell is amazing and it contains moisturizer so your skin is left with a smooth and nice feeling. For moisturizing my skin I will be grabbing the "Smoothie star-deep moisture body milk" from Soap and Glory. This body milk is just amazing! First the smell is so nice I could eat the hole bottle when it wouldn't be inedible. Second, it moisturizes your body really well and during winter time this is your must-have, when you tend to have really dry skin. And again it leaves you with a baby smooth skin.

After I get out of my bath, I will surely cleanse my face with the Clinique "liquid facial soap mild". I had a really "rough time" with my skin lately and this cleanser helped improve my skin so much! If you are looking for a cleanser who is not too strong and super gentle to your skin, I would definitely give it go. If you are not sure wether to try it or not because of the prize, ask for a little sample. I did that too and it comes in a little set with cleanser, moisturizer and clarifying lotion. And as the bottle is quite big it lasts you a really long time. I've been using it over two month and I'm still not even half way through.
After cleansing my face I will then grab the "Origin Super Spot Remover". I heard a ton of recommendations about this little bugger. And when I'm honest, when I first saw the tiny teeny bottle, I was a bit undecided wether to give it a go or not. But I'm glad I did. It helped improving my skin so much and my spots disappeared much faster as they normally would do. The money is totally worth it! And this little bottle lasts you a really long time, who would've thought this?!. Again I've been using it over two month now and I'm barely in the middle.

After that I will pamper my skin with the Clinique " Anti-blemish solutions" oil-conrol cleansing mask.
Again for me the prize is totally worth it. If I would use any other face mask, and believe me I have tried loads, my skin would go crazy and I would have break outs for more than two weeks. This is the only mask who is gentle enough for my skin. It's the perfect mixture for sensitive and combination skin.
Then I will use my "Scrub your nose in it" Soap and Glory facial peeling against pores. Just apply a little bit on nose, chin and forehead. Scrub it gently with a rotary movement into your skin for a few minutes. Then rinse it gently off.

To finish off my facial treatment I then moisturize my face with the Clinique "dramatically different moisturizing gel". Again my skin is really sensitive when it comes down to moisturizer. Mostly they are too oily or too oil-free. And if I use one for combination skin I get dry and oily patches all over my face. But since I started using this, my skin has improved so much. It's gently to your skin and is perfect for combination skin because of it's really light texture and it still moisturizes your skin enough.

And of course to finish off your pamper day, what would be better than a hot autumn tea and a feel-good book or film. The book I'm currently reading is called "This is what happy looks like" and literally it makes me so happy!

I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you very soon :)

Current favourites

Hello there,

As you know everyone of us has their own faves, because of course we're all different. I really enjoy reading posts about the loves of other bloggers, because it can help with finding new good products and that's why I just thought I will give it a try and write about my own current favourites. So I asked myself what I really enjoy at the moment and of course a lot of things came into my mind :)

I want to start with a beauty product I really love ! I bought it two months ago and i couldn't live without it now. It's the Naked basics palette from Urban Decay. It has a good range of 6 colours and they are all high pigmented and I just think that it's perfect because of the different nude shades and than the black for more of a smokey eye look. Isn't that great?! haha

My next clothing favourite is my jacket from River Island. I wore it in my last post about my travel handbag essentials and I wear it nearly on a daily basic now. It's quite casual and I love wearing it with a scarf especially because the weather in my country was so bad the last weeks..

I think it's quite hard to find the best eyeliner, because everybody has it's own perfect picture in their head of an perfect line and wing, but at the moment I really enjoy using the Superliner eyeliner from L'oréal. I really like the precise line it creates and that the tip doesn't dry out fast. I'm actually really bad when it comes to eyeliner, because they just never look the same at first, but I think I really became better with this little guy and I'm sooo glad I bought it in the store.

The next one is maybe quite random, but I just love rings currently, especially mid rings. Often a look is just so much nicer with some jewellery, but it's sometimes quite hard to find the right necklace or the right earrings for an outfit. Exactly in these situation rings are so good, because they fit to so many different styles and looks. My rings are from River Island, h&m and Topshop, but you can find rings just everywhere and that's great haha.

I hope you liked this post. I just thought I won't write about so many different things and tried to keep it simple.

We'll see us soon.
